Spend a full day immersed in practical, hands-on learning. In our workshops, you’ll roll up your sleeves and dive into essential skills - propagating plants, pickling and fermenting your own veggies, building healthy compost and growing your own food with confidence.

All workshops are run by me, Mitch! The Founder of Patch to Plate Living, I’m a Sydney-based edible landscaper and food grower -who is passionate about transforming any space into a productive, sustainable garden.

We’ll move through four practical parts throughout the day.
Each part is designed to give you the confidence and skills to
live more sustainably at home.

  • Learn how to take cuttings, grow new plants, and keep them thriving. You’ll pot up your own plant to take home — grown by you, for you.

  • Discover the art of preserving the harvest. You’ll make your own jar of crunchy, tangy pickles and learn simple fermentation techniques to keep seasonal produce lasting longer.

  • Turn kitchen scraps into garden gold. You’ll learn how to build healthy compost — whether you have a backyard or just a balcony.

  • Explore how to turn even the tiniest patch (or windowsill) into a productive food garden. We’ll cover soil, sun, watering, and what to grow where.
